Huge – and well deserved – congratulations to our colleague Goda Perlaviciute for being named full professor!
Goda is one of four new professors appointed in the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences through the Aletta Jacobs professorship initiative of the University of Groningen. Aletta Jacobs was a suffragette, women’s health advocate and the first woman to officially attend a Dutch university right here in Groningen.
Here’s what professor Perlaviciute had to say about her professorship: “This chair is essential for understanding what motivates people to get on board for the most needed sustainable transitions of our time.’”
