Another new school year has just begun this month, and we’re happy to welcome these new researchers to our group!

Gonzalo Palomo Valez, post doc:

Gonzalo is a postdoctoral researcher in the HySUCCESS project (Social, User aCCeptable, Economically Sustainable Systems for hydrogen), where he studies the individual, social, and institutional factors shaping public perceptions and acceptability of hydrogen developments. More broadly, however, his research uses environmental and evolutionary psychological frameworks to examine the functional and social motivations underlying people’s environmental behaviors across multiple domains.

Cedric Meyer, PhD:

Cedric is doing a PhD through the transdisciplinary project ReGeNL, which focusses on the transition towards a future-proof agricultural sector in the Netherlands. In the action line Human Capital his research will focus on the role of farmer’s identities in this transition.

Yongzhang Li, post doc:

Yongzhang Li is a post doc whose research is part of ChangeAble, an NWO project which develops new knowledge to accelerate behavioural change, provide insights into the individual, social and contextual factors that stimulate sustainable behaviour, and how and when policy can effectively leverage them. His research will focus on the relationship between people’s pro-environmental behaviors, psychological variables, and government influences, and will develop a mathematical model to investigate the time evolution of these variables in a social network.
