Another new school year has just begun this month, and we’re happy to welcome two new researchers to our group!
Adelaida Patrasc-Lungu, post doc:
Adelaida is part of the multidisciplinary, applied research project, HyTROS (Hydrogen Transport, Offshore and Storage). Her work falls under the Safety, Standards and Regulations project pillar and will focus on understanding public perceptions and acceptability of hydrogen, with the aim to integrate those findings into guideline documents and public engagement approaches.
Chao Qin, post doc:
Chao’s current research focuses on public acceptance of demand-side policies and strategies addressing CO2 emissions and climate change. His research is part of the “Acceptability of Low Carbon Lifestyle” project, which will examine how members of the public perceive changes in their quality of life due to the switch to low carbon lifestyles, and designing scientific communications to promote such lifestyles.
Bram Burgerhof, junior researcher:
Bram is working in the Accelerating Just Climate Transitions in Urban Regions, a nation-wide research project set up by the Klimaatonderzoek Initiatief Nederland (KIN). Under supervision of Goda Perlaviciute, Lorenzo Squintani, and Ina Horlings, Bram is conducting a scoping review of evaluative reports on public participation in sustainability projects in the Netherlands, and will interview relevant stakeholders in such projects.
